Integrated Breathing Therapies Module:
October 7 to 11
Investment per module:
The Training course in Rebirthing and Integrated Breathing Therapies offered by Metamorfose Center is a theoretical and experiential, intensive course divided into two modules where we practice different forms of breathing and learn to how to use these techniques, either as professional facilitators, or in our day-to-day life.
Our breath has a potential that is often untapped by us, we usually breathe horribly, in a superficial and unconscious manner. When we deepen our breath and bring awareness to it, not only are we benefiting our body, but we also open our perception and sensitivity. In the East, for millennia, various forms of breathing are used as a means of cleansing and purification of the body and mind and for meditation techniques.
The breathing techniques that we will practice throughout this course allows for our perception and sensitivity to become keener, and that we come in contact with our emotions, thought patterns and attitudes which we are not usually aware of or suppress. The basis of all the work is connected breathing, where there is no pause between inhalation and exhalation, and an increasing our capacity of observation. The technique is applied in several different ways.
Why take this Training?
When we experience the Integrated Breathing Therapies (IBT) we enter into contact with our many potentials. Sensations and surprising emotions emerge from the center of our being, literally, turning us more aware of them. The whole process is amazing and wonderful.
Often we feel a kind of vocation, a contact with an internal need to change. Is there something wrong with our life story? With our attitudes, behaviors, situation?
A lot happens with Rebirthing, and it is common to have the desire to deepen our knowledge about the technique and its manifestations. All events occurring during the breathing can be deepened. This deepening happens in an Intensive Experience and Training.
Through this Intensive Experience and Training of Rebirthing and IBT from Metamorfose Center, you will understand the physiological mechanisms behind the common sensations in Rebirthing (such as tingling, muscle contraction, standard changes of breath), deepen your knowledge of belief systems and how to change them, learn and experience various breathing styles, receive supplemental materials - handouts - with important information about birth and behavior patterns. Information so significant that often change our view of life and the world we live in - this is Rebirthing.
It is important to know that to obtain high quality results in Circular Breathing there is no need for any other specific type of training or experience. These techniques are available and open to anyone interested regardless of their personal or professional training.
“In 50 years of professional activity, with several searches and experiences, Circular Breathing seems to be the best technique to solve anyone’s emotional problems, and no matter what the problem is, the continuous practice stimulates a continuous process of change.”

Renata Martins (psychotherapist, 54 years old)
I graduated in Psychology from Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo. I have worked as a therapist since 2002. During this period I participated in the Rebirthing Training Course and Breathing Integrated Therapies, as well as a training in Reich Body Psychotherapy and Neo-Reich. Also, during the same period I began to participate in the School of Mysteries group with Deva Prashanto and various other therapeutic groups at Metamorfose Center. This was an intense period of many transformations in my life, which gave me a glimpse of what I want to do on this planet.
The technique known as Rebirthing made a deep impact on me, as well as my experiences with meditation. Since then, I have never stopped using these practices. I developed maternity work, preparing women, mothers, pregnant women, and couples, for a more conscientious maternity. While working with Rebirthing and observing adults getting in touch with old wounds, emotional traumas, patterns arising from their childhood experiences through the family, I felt it was necessary to work at the root of the problem, going deep in prevention work and in preparing for motherhood and fatherhood.
