We are currently witnessing a profound crisis of love, both on a social and on an individual level.
There is a lack of respect and consideration in the way in which people treat one another. Is the way out through constant fighting? We are under the false illusion that the problem is always created by the other and that he or she is responsible for our misery and bad luck. By thinking in this manner we merely become increasingly impotent and get into a deeper state of conflict.
Yet there is a way out. To be able to love again it’s vital for you to have greater personal awareness and put it in touch with your ´loving self´. The more you learn to connect with the source of love inside yourself, the more you attract love itself. Our modern life is frenetic; we are constantly stuffing ourselves with information, as if this was a route to happiness. Yet with so much rushing about, we lack time to feel, and to love. What´s the point of having someone at your side if you have nothing to offer him or her? What can you possibly offer your partner by being irritable, frustrated or bad-tempered?
Our modern life is frenetic; we are constantly stuffing ourselves with information, as if this was a route to happiness. Yet with so much rushing about, we lack time to feel, and to love. What´s the point of having someone at your side if you have nothing to offer him or her? What can you possibly offer your partner by being irritable, frustrated or bad-tempered?
But if you dedicate a bit of time to close your eyes and simply feel the breath entering and leaving your body, for at least 15 minutes per day, this will becalm your mind. You will increase your breathing capacity and begin to feel better and more at peace. This is meditation.
Give yourself a chance to be intimate with yourself. Those who practice meditation know what I´m talking about. It´s a sure route to self-love. You learn to give yourself this present and to be energised by its vitality. And then when you come to relate to the other, you are able to offer yourself in a much more wholesome way. Through meditation, a person becomes more sensitive to appreciating the nuances which life proposes both inside and outside of oneself. He or she is able to reverence every moment and to be conscious of this. When he or she is with the other, he or she is able to create something very special: a celebration of life.
We invite you to get to know the meditative practices of the Metamorfose Centre. They are transformative, and work with the idea of the totality of the Self in its various aspects – through the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – allowing a sense of balance and unity in your body.
Meditation is the art of relating, to oneself and to the other. What´s the point of using a meditative practice and then cordoning yourself off from society? What type of benefit will this bring to a world in which your children and grandchildren will be living? People who isolate themselves through meditation merely transfer the responsibility of changing the world in which we live onto the shoulders of future generations.
The meditations at the Metamorfose Centre improve social relations, having the power to transform society. We invite you to come and meditate with us.
You can trust in Metamorfose.
